The role of the Demand Planner is to support the creation of the Wholesale Demand Plan. The Demand Plan (DP) is the basis for Purchasing and significantly influences the inventory management/stock turn and re-order availability. Therefore it is also the foundation for reaching sales and inventory targets. Main KPI is the Demand Plan accuracy in consideration of availability and inventory levels.
Forecast extrapolation < Create analyses and statistics. Ensure pre-order business< Balance the product availability for the re-order period. Monthly distribution of the RDP reflecting market demand Create and update size curves Adherence to the observance of local and global timelines and deadlines Liaise with cross-function departments (Team Services, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good analytical skills. Excellent numerical skills. Good SAP knowledge (APO & AFS). Good MS Excel skills. Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Word). Good communication skills. Fluent in English.
Bachelor’s degree. First work experience in demand planning or a similar field preferably in the sporting goods industry.
